What we do

FACEBOOK

LOCAL SEARCH/EVENT PROMOTION

TWITTER

Twitter is now the “hottest” social media promotional tool for small, medium-sized and large businesses.  By choosing carefully who you follow, you can let the industry leaders direct you to articles and news that is relevant to your industry.

You have only 140 characters to communicate your message, so most links are shortened (and more easily tracked) and hashtags (#) are used.  When you add a hashtag to your tweets, your updates can be seen not only by the people who follow you, but also by anyone who happens to be following that particular hashtag.

Facebook is not just for reconnecting with your high school and college buddies.    However, many of these connections are close to being lifelong friends and if I were going to listen to a reference, it would preferably be from one of them, opposed to a stranger’s “customer testimonial”.  It's estimated that 2/3 of all the goods and services produced in the world are driven by word of mouth recommendations.

Every time someone “Likes” your business page, they have also automatically told all of their friends. In order to get your existing customers to interact with you more often, you have to communicate with them. Your customers are probably using Facebook every day, so it would make sense that you do also.

There are basically three categories of Local Search/Event Promotion sites; Syndicated, Geographic and Social.

Syndicated sites will submit your business or event to other sites and news channels depending on subject and geographical target; Zvents, Eventful, Upcoming.

Geographic sites are based on location and zip codes and then sub-categorized under event type and news category; Patch, WeGoPlaces, Wimgo.

Social sites integrate Facebook and Twitter; TweetMyEvents, Shmap.it, SocilaVents.

WEBSITE ANALYSIS + CALL TO ACTION

BLOGGING

On the Internet “quality content is king.” Since blogs are constantly updated search engines find them more relevant than stagnant sites.  New content is more interesting, discusses current issues, offers tips, and free professional advice in your area of expertise.

Think of it like your own Public Relations Soap Box, plus it gives both people and search engines a reason to revisit your site.  Content should be posted to the blog once a week and tagged with keywords to assist the search engines in finding the content.

We perform an in-depth analysis of your website and examine  your ranking challenges  by compiling qualitative and quantitative data from your online presence as well as your competition's.  The goal is to build a continuous improvement of the online experience for your customers and prospects

which ultimately translates into your desired conversion.

The call to action (CTA) is the most important part of a landing page, designed to convince visitors to take the next step or complete a specified action. That could mean signing up for an email list, purchasing a product or service or completing any request aligned with furthering your business goals.

A mobile app encapsulates your News/RSS, Facebook, Twitter, Website, Video, Contact Info, etc, all in one place.  People like to have Mobile Apps because they are simple to use and allows access to information at your fingertips.  The New York Times calls Mobile Marketing “The most powerful media ever invented” and I agree.

QR (Quick Response) codes are popular and flexible two-dimensional barcodes used by businesses and individuals to promote marketing campaigns, education, audio, video, etc. to mobile users.  QR codes can be incorporated into ads, blogs, websites, social media, etc.  A QR Reader is a free application and works like a camera, except when you take the picture, it redirects the user to wherever you want to take them..
